We met again with OneCare yesterday to continue bargaining for your new Enterprise Agreement. We provided your feedback on their offer which was positive, but there is an outstanding matter around the pandemic leave. Your claim was for 14 days paid pandemic leave (which they have previously rejected) but have agreed to reconsider the claim.
Here is the offer:
- 4.25% wage increase 1 July 2024, 4% 2025 and 4% 2026
- 3-year Agreement
- Lactation and express breaks, provide a comfortable room and supply a fridge for milk storage
- Pregnancy Loss – loss of baby 0 to 12 weeks, 5 days paid leave; 13 to 18 weeks, 10 days paid leave and 20+ weeks, 4 weeks paid leave
- Casual conversion after 6 months employment
- Health and wellbeing clause providing sanitary products
- Recognition day, providing morning and afternoon teas
- 12 days paid Family Domestic Violence
- Extra classifications for Level 2 and Level 3 for hospitality workers
OneCare advised that they would pay the 4.25% wage increase as soon as the Agreement was successfully voted on.
We will commence the drafting with OneCare within two weeks and once the drafting is completed, the Agreement will be put out for you to vote on.
