Our Operational Structure

Who we are, and how we serve our members

HACSU has a loud, proud, and storied history dating back to the early 20th century. Part of what has made us strong in the present was owed to those who established the core structure from which we now operate.

HACSU, like other unions across Australia, is a member focused and orientated organisation that is governed by set national rules as determined by our parent body the National Council of the Health Services Union.

These rules and governance structures were put in place to ensure that our membership base is at the very heart of every decision that we make.

In this section of the website, you can find out more about how HACSU is governed, who makes up the Committee of Management that enshrines our governance policies into practice, as well as a brief introduction into HACSU, our proud history, and what our values are.
